Subject: Geography (How Humans modified their environment)
Throughout global history, human societies in various countries and regions have modified their physical environments to meet their needs. The companies have built structures, removed and modified vegetation and land resources to meet their needs. Often these changes have had different results.
Task:
Select two different nations or regions and for each
  • Explain why the company changed its

  • that this modification was in that nation or region
can use any nation or region of their study of global history. Some suggestions you might consider are the Middle East (amended soil), Africa (amended soil), Japan (amended soil), Britain (extracted resources), South Africa (extracted resources), Brazil (vegetation removed) China (built a structure) and East Germany (built structures.) You are not limited to these suggestions. Do not select United States or a region of the United States as an example in your response.
